Ramadan Kareem!

Another year gone by,and dosent time fly.I can still feel the high eman i had,and the joy i got from it.A time to ponder,of the blessings,the Al Mighty has bestowed upon us and a reminder,there are many less fortunate out there. For all us muslims around the world,its a chance to get closer to Allah swt,visiting family and friends,even reconciling differences between muslims.

So as Ramadan begins,i will be posting daliy,du'aas,quran,recipes,videos,bits and pieces.You can all give me a helping hand with your ideas,inshallah!By the way,i'm a Sunni muslim alhamdulilah, all are welcome anyway

Fasting in Shaban

‘Aa’ishah(may Allaah be pleased with her)said: “The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to fast until we thought he would never break his fast, and not fast until we thought he would never fast. I never saw the Messenger of Allaah fasting for an entire month except in Ramadaan, and I never saw him fast more than he did in Sha’baan.” Al-Bukhaari, no. 1833; Muslim, no. 1956). Pre dawn meal reminder

Don't forget to wake up with plenty of time to eat 'Suhur' before the Fair prayer begins Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allah said: "The pre-dawn meal is blessed, so do not neglect it even if you only take a sip of water. Verily, Allah and the angels pray for those who have pre-dawn meals." This is related by Ahmad.
The Sunnah is to take it shortly before dawn. Narrated Anas, mAbpwh, that Zaid bin Thabit, mAbpwh, said , "We took the Suhur with the Prophet, pbuh. Then he stood for the prayer." I asked, "What was the interval between the Suhur and the Adhan [call for prayer]?" He replied, "The interval was sufficient to recite fifty verses of the Qur'an."
